For over forty years, the Mini Heiva has been one of InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa’s most treasured traditions. Held across two weekends under the night sky, each edition features four evenings of extraordinary performances on our Grand Motu paepae, a traditional stone stage.

Welcoming up to 600 guests per night, this immersive dinner experience offers a spectacular buffet spread featuring local specialties, show cooking, oysters, and lobster.

Curated around the central theme of ancient legends and remarkable sites around our Resort, each evening carries its own narrative and visual identity, from costumes and décor to a dress code shared by guests and staff alike, brought to life through an opening narration.

Fridays are marked by the moving harmonies of pupu himene, Saturdays by the blazing spectacle of fire dance. The best troupes from the Heiva i Tahiti, both amateur and professional, take to the stage, their year-long preparation distilled into one hour of pure communion.
