With five years of service, Heirani feels like a long-time member of the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa team.
Her background in English and Hotel Management prepared her for her current role as F&B coordinator, where she oversees a team of 250 people.
Passionate about travel and culinary exploration, Heirani thrives on the adrenaline of event management and constantly seeks professional growth.

Heirani Cheung

With five years of service under her belt, Heirani knows the hotel corridors so well it feels like she’s been working here for much longer!

After studying English and Hotel Management, she got her start in the yachting industry. Dockside formalities are no mystery to her, to the point of becoming routine.

The loss of her mother made her feel the need to build something. So she applied for a job at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa, as a secretary in the Food & Beverage department.

She was given with more and more responsibilities, in line with her desire to grow professionally. Organizing a very special Mini Heiva in 2021, in a context of daily changes of rules regarding social gatherings.

An avid explorer, she has traveled to New Zealand, Panama, Hawaii and the United States.

Her inquisitive and analytical mind never goes on vacation: she likes to take pictures of her favorite dishes during her stay, and when she is returns to her kitchen in Tahiti, she reconstructs the recipes from the ingredients.

Today, as F&B coordinator, she works with a team of 250 people.

Despite the late hours, event management is a true revelation for her: “we’re always super busy, but in the end we love the adrenaline rush, and what a sense of accomplishment when the week is over!” Easter, Miss Tahiti Gala, Mother’s Day, Tahiti Fashion Week: there’s always something different going on…
