Teva Lai Mink

The product of a beautiful blend of Polynesian and German cultures, Teva spent his childhood in France until the age of 13. It was during a family vacation in Tahiti that he fell in love with the island, and decided to settle there.

The son of a military career man, Teva has an impressive academic record, with two degrees in energy management. And that’s not all! His passion for travel led him to work as a baggage handler at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa before working his way up to concierge.

With six years’ experience, Teva is known for his sense of service and his dedication to meeting guests’ needs with a positivite attitude. Teva focuses on creating memorable experiences for our visitors.

His motto? “Add life to years, not years to life”. A philosophy that perfectly reflects his background and approach to customer service.

Outside of work, Teva has many passions:

  • Dance – at the recent Hura Tapairu dance competition, his all-male Toa mata rau group earned a prize for their ote’a
  • Other sports such as badminton and va’a –Tahitian outrigger canoe rowing-, an activity recently integrated into his routine
  • Video games
  • Reading

What’s more, the cameras seem to love Teva, as he’s the star of our short movie for our hotel’s 50th anniversary… Could this be yet another string to the bow of  this multi-talented young man ?
