LE LOTUS RESTAURANT

Le Lotus Restaurant is the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa’s stunning overwater gourmet restaurant. Located next to our sand-bottomed swimming pool, this dreamy setting allows diners to fully appreciate the beauty of neighbouring Moorea.

A light lunch is served every day from 12pm to 2pm, so you can take in views of Moorea during daylight hours. Come for creative gourmet meals from 6.00pm to 9.30pm each evening, served up in an elegant and intimate atmosphere. The menu is complemented by a selection of fine French wines.

In 2020, InterContinental Resorts in French Polynesia and Chef Bruno Oger are cementing a partnership between the renowned chef and Le Lotus. The popular restaurant aims to elevate its operation with the benefit of the savoir-faire of Oger, who is widely recognized as an expert in French haute cuisine.

Oger will work on the development of new menus and, along with chef Jacques di Guisto, will supervise the execution of new dishes and the training of the culinary staff. At the end of the year Mr. Eric Descazaux, manager of La Villa Archange, Chef Oger’s celebrated gastronomic restaurant in the south of France, will visit Tahiti to train Le Lotus service team.

Chef Oger is becoming the soul of Le Lotus, bringing with him a wealth of talent, passion, technical prowess and guidance.

A gastronomic evening with the chef is planned for February 28 at Le Lotus to celebrate the alliance. Oger will also take advantage of his time in the islands to create an evening of refined dining at InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa’s Le Corail restaurant.
